Carol: We do have some mosquitoes, but I don't think that they are disease carrying and not as abundant as in hotter countries. We have midges that congregate around still water, apparently they are a sub group of gnats, and they can bite pretty badly. Some people seem to be effected more than others, I don't know why.

This is a very pretty place, at the far end of the pool is a lovely old hotel. However, I wanted to catch the burst of sunset between the trees.

A was taking a photograph of a duck on the wall when one came and plonked himself in front of me and posed. So, yes, it was quite moodfull. The ducks can be quite funny so I've taken a few of them too.
