I think sometimes that nature does it best. Our garden is filled with forget-me-nots which the birds have dropped. I love their vibrant colours of blues and purples and the way they seem to plant themselves where the most colour in needed.   I focused on the flower head so that the background would blur out. I love having the backgrounds blured out in a flower picture. I love flower picture. Even before the days of my camera I would cut flower pictures out of magazines to make up other pictures on trays etc.
