This special sculpture has been made by Joyce M Brassem, I think that she's blind. It can be found at the Brockhampton National Trust Estate in Herefordshire. http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-vh/w-visits/w-findaplace/w-brockhamptonestate/ I don't know if anyone knows, but Hereford is home to the National Blind College. I know that technically it's not the best of photos, but just imagine not being able to see your work !

We are supposed to be in the midst of a bee shortage, I've come to t e conclusion they are all living in our area! Beautiful mysterious creatures. If you look at his leg you will see it's covered in pollen. Having been stung a few times in the past by bees, I am slightly cautious around them. If you've never been stung by a bee it feels like a hammer has hit you, unlike a wasp sting which is extremely stingy. Unfortunately for the bee though a sting means death, so I have faired well in comparison.

Same pond in Hereford by the Castle Green late evening. I had a problem with this one because the path in front of the hotel is not in line with the line of the water. To straighten up the hotel I end up with the water line tilted. Most inconsiderate of the architects

This photograph was taken just outside Hereford on the Hereford to Worcester road. On the left of the photo is an old mill. Some friends of mine have a flat on the top floor. I can't get over how many people with small children have bought places in the Old Mill. If it was me I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. When the medow has dried out a little I would like to take a picture from the other side. It was a bit bright. I think that a duller day would take a better photograph. Pretty place though.
